The Family’s note

“La Croix de Savoie” Hotel and Restaurant more than a half a centenary story. The previous establishment was built in 1960 according to the standards and requirements of that time. It was a typical wooden “Savoyard Chalet”, ideally located in Les Carroz Resort.

The hotel benefits from an exceptional location in the greenery and in the peace, only 600 m far from the skilifts and 800 m far from the center. The panoramic view dominates the village, the “Vallée de l’Arve” and the “Massif des Aravis”.

Since 2008, we have been working so that we may propose you a quality of service as high as your needs.

After 4 working years, the establishment has become a model of structure regarding sustainable development, protect of environment, conservation of our natural heritage and protection of our planet.

It is the first BioClimatic hotel in “Région Rhône-Alpes” and the third in France. So, it is for us, an immense pleasure to welcomes our customers in “La Croix de Savoie” hotel and to make them discover our commitment.

Eco Logical

“La Croix de Savoie” hotel is a model of tourist structure regarding sustainable development, protection of environment, conservation of our natural heritage, protection of our planet with, for an objective that the customer takes care of noting!

The used materials have been chosen as their environment al protection and their local supply. The used energies are renewable energies (wood, solar, recycling of rainwaters). The building is designed according to the BioClimatic rules and is energy-saving (BBC label, optimum heat insulation). Vegetated roofs are also planned in the second phase of the works.

The ecological and BioClimatic approach which guides our conviction, is going on beyond the construction, in the management of the place (sorting of dechets: paper, metal, compost), use of biocleanning products, electric shuttle in the service of the clientele, management of the energies, preferential price to the customers favouring public transportation, creation of an organic menu at the gourmet restaurant, raising awareness of customers to the environmental protection by the communication in the rooms, staff information.

The hotel also favours the access to the persons in situation of handicap by the creation of three adapted rooms, and the access to all services is also adapted.

Its chalet and contemporary style combine the local natural materials such as wood and stone. The nature extends as far as the eye can see with the 10 hectares of greenery composed of the forest of firtrees, natural fields and the kitchen garden.
